Who we are
Faithless Christianity, Inc. ("Faithless Christianity", "we", "us") is a faith media and technology company based in Brooklyn, New York. We run this website, faithlesschristianity.com, and the Faithless Christianity Texts messaging program. You can reach us at brianguan98@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your mobile number and consent record. If you sign up for texts on our sign-up page, we store your mobile number, the consent language you agreed to, the page you signed up on, and the date and time.
- Messages you send us. If you reply to our texts or email us, we keep those messages so we can respond and honor requests such as STOP and HELP.
- Basic website logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
How we use it
- To send the text messages you asked for and to manage your subscription.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To keep our website and messaging secure and working, and to comply with the law.
Text messaging and your mobile number
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver the messaging service, such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers. All of the categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email brianguan98@gmail.com. The full program details are in our Terms.
Service providers
We use a small number of companies to operate, and they may process information only on our behalf: Twilio (sending and receiving text messages), Supabase (database storage), and Vercel (website hosting). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
The beta app
In 2026 we ran a beta iOS app called Faithless Christianity. It is no longer being developed. If you used it, the account identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google and the daily entries you saved are still stored privately in your account. Prayer audio stayed on your device unless you chose to transcribe a prayer, in which case that audio was processed by OpenAI to create the transcript. You can delete your account from the app's Settings screen, or email us and we will delete it for you.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your mobile number and consent record while you are subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward so we have a record of your opt-in and opt-out. To have your information deleted, email brianguan98@gmail.com and we will remove it, except where we are required to keep a record.
Security
We limit access to personal information to the people and providers who need it to run the service, and we use providers that encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and you must be 18 or older to sign up for text messages. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our work develops. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
